On Tuesday July 30, Barrio will be hosting its next Slinging Plates event, which will see chef Francisco Smoje join forces with renowned farmer and restaurateur Palisa Anderson (of Boon Luck Farm and Chat Thai restaurants) and Jared Dixon of Jilly Wines for the ultimate mid-week feast and sip experience.

What is Slinging Plates? 

On the last Tuesday of the month Barrio head chef Francisco Smoje invites a new culinary artist to create affordable dishes at fixed price points for the local community to enjoy. Chefs are encouraged to work with local producers and have the freedom to create a signature dish or something different to what they’re usually known for. 

This month, enjoy Palisa’s renowned cooking with $10 / $20 plates (meat & vegan friendly options) alongside a $10 glass of wine by Jilly Wines.
